Hey there, my name is Jamie-lee!
I’ve been participating in Rix Kix adult dance lessons for over a year now and I can gladly say it is one of the most amazing experiences. To be a part of a dance family/community that is so inclusive and passionate is something I will not find anywhere else.

I started dancing when I was 5 years old. I attended a dance school in WA but I unfortunately stopped dancing when I reached the age of 10 when my family and I moved states. I did participate in dance in high school, but I don’t consider that an experience.

After a 10 year break and a move to the NT I decided I wanted to start dancing again as I missed it and needed an outlet. I found out about Rix Kix Arts and just decided to join it. Rix Kix Arts has provided me with so many opportunities, experiences and of course friendships! Some of my favourite experiences I have been grateful enough to be part of was the 2019 Arafura Games Closing Ceremony and Seabreeze festival.
